Hole Punching(Cloud Service)
Hole punching is a networking technique for establishing communications between two parties(DVR and remote PC or mobile phone) in separate organizations who are both behind restrictive firewalls. Since each client initiated the request to the server, the server knows their IP addresses and port numbers assigned for that session, which it shares one to the other. Having valid port numbers causes the firewalls to accept the incoming packets from each side.
Control in CMS
SHR series can be added as device in CMS. It means that user can remotely manage and control Sicunet standalone DVR thru Sicunet CMS software. In Sicunet technology users don't need to use the various software any more.
Video Compression
To compress your files, the codec looks for unnecessary files or frames it can reduce or eliminate without impacting the final version of the video. This process is done automatically by your surveillance camera, but you can often choose which style of video compression to use and the compression level within the video: H.264 compression this is the newest, and most efficient video compression codec, and it works by taking small groups of frames and evaluating them together as a series to eliminate duplicate content that appears in each frame without changing.
